Prenatal Breastfeeding Classes
Start your breastfeeding journey feeling confident by attending a Prenatal Breastfeeding Education Class. Many feel that because breastfeeding is ‘natural’ that it should be easy; but like anything we learn it takes time, and practice makes perfect. Taking a class can increase your knowledge and in turn increase your breastfeeding success. The information is taught by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Learn about Breastfeeding Basics, How and When to feed your baby, Making sure they are getting enough, Breast Care and more! Classes are between 2- 2.5 hours in length and offered Virtually in your Home $100 or in a Group setting for individuals At a discounted rate.
Dates to be announced for group classes. Anyone who books a Prenatal Breastfeeding Class can receive 10% off a breastfeeding Consultation. *One pregnant person per couple.
Initial Breastfeeding Consultation In Your Home $200
90-120 minutes – Includes a Complete Lactation Assessment and Evaluation in your home. A Customized Care Plan of what was discussed will be made available within 48 hours by email. A report to your physician on your behalf can be made available if required. *Travel fees apply to greater than 25km’s.
Initial Breastfeeding Consultation In Clinic $150
60-120 minutes – Includes a Complete Lactation Assessment and Evaluation in your home. A Customized Care Plan of what was discussed will be made available within 48 hours by email. A report to your physician on your behalf can be made available if required.
Follow Up Consultation – In Clinic $80
60 minute follow up visit – This visit will allow for a review of basic latch and positioning strategies and discuss any questions or concerns you may have following our plan of care.
Weekly Ongoing Chat Support $25
If our initial and follow up consults are completed and you feel you would benefit from quick discussion through phone/text/email about simple and uncomplicated concerns, this may be an option for you. If I feel as though a follow up would be an appropriate action, we can book at our earliest convenience. We have up until 12-24 hours to respond to your request, but the reply is often more reasonable.
Virtual Support – Contact for Prices
If you require assistance with breastfeeding education, breastfeeding support or guidance but do not live in my area; we offer virtual visits through phone or video chat for those who don’t require direct in-person care. We can discuss your goals and build a plan that is right for you and your family. Each consult is approximately 30- 60 minutes. A care plan is customized for you and your baby and a care plan is given within 48 hours. A physician’s report may be created as needed.
